Position Overview:

We’re looking for an outgoing and dependable Cookie Baker to join our team at the Pheasant Lane Mall. This person will be excited to learn & grow, and will focus on keeping all things

SIMPLE, EFFICIENT, & EXCELLENT

while working. This role is essential to preparing our 1/4 lb. cookies to our specific standard consistently, and in turn delivering every guest with a memorable experience. The cookie Baker will be prepping all cookie doughs, balling up & weighing cookie balls, baking the cookies to the perfect thick & chewy texture with a toasty outer layer, & packaging when needed. The cookie Baker will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness & organization inside the baking station, ensuring ovens & other machines are kept calibrated & treated with care, and washing all equipment & utensils that are used in the cookie baking process. The baker is a crucial part of Maggie’s Munchies & we want to ensure they also understand the importance of being a part of a team, and helping to create an atmosphere of hard work, positivity, and service to every guest through the cookies you’ll be baking.

Key Responsibilities:

Begin with early morning shift to follow the baking schedule for the day. Preparing all of your ingredients/equipment/utensils prior to beginning your baking to ensure efficiency & organization throughout each baking session. (also known as “Mise en place”) Keep the bakery clean, tidy, and organized—including wiping prep tables, washing dishes, and restocking ingredients on the dry shelf & the fridge Complete inventory tracking at the end of each shift in order to help the leadership team maintain proper inventory levels.
