The ideal candidate will have a love for pastries, baked goods, confections, cakes, and ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing friendly service to our customers. Duties . Prepare baked goods according to provided recipes Ability to gain creative freedom Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Utilize POS systems effectively for order processing and inventory management. Engage in sales techniques to promote menu items and enhance customer experience. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in a café or retail environment is required Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests. Retail math is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash management. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
