Job Description
Artisan Bread Baker Jed’s Bread Craft Bakery Bloomfield, NJ 07003 Looking to hire someone with a minimal one year experience mixing, bench work and deck oven operation. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, hardworking bread production baker to join our small and growing family run bakery. We serve naturally leavened breads, and pastry items to select Farmers Markets. Need to be familiar with high hydration and slowly fermented doughs. Good communication, ability to read and follow instructions, openness to learning and developing your craft necessary. Must be able to work overnight weekends and some 4am starts. Heavy lifting of up to 50lbs is required and standing long hours on feet. We are a warm, community focused operation and do not tolerate discrimination.
