North Bergen, NJ Job Details $15.00 – $17.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bakery Baking Mid-level 2 years Full Job Description Las Chicas Bakery & Cafe is looking for a cake decorator to join our 21 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable an attentive to detail. Responsibilities Assemble, finish and decorate cakes with whipped cream , buttercream or fondant as requested by customer Develop, produce and merchandise bakery products to stimulate sales and enhance bakery growth Create new and flavorful items to enhance customer interest Prepare and bake various mixes for cakes tarts and cookies and individual pastries Prepare fillings, icings, mousses, and other confections. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery premises Follow appropriate safety and sanitation procedures in the bakery. Qualifications •Must have experience piping, icing, with precision and at a fast pace. •Must have 2 years experience with fondant covered tiered cakes.
