The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, pastries, croissants, cakes, and cookies according to established recipes. Ensure all baked goods are produced with high quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items for catering events or restaurant offerings. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers regarding their preferences and special requests. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other baking tools. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results. Qualifications Proven experience as a Baker in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools, including knives for precise cutting and decorating tasks. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to meet production schedules. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
