The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, along with a strong commitment to customer service. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes that meet customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. Responsibilities Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer orders and design specifications. Utilize various cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Prepare and handle food items in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking and decorating as needed. Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Package finished products for display or delivery while ensuring presentation quality. Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating or a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Proficiency in using kitchen tools, including knives, mixers, and decorating equipment. Creative mindset with an eye for detail in design and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays.
