The opportunity
Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Pastry Cook to join our team at Hundredfold American Brasserie, opening soon in Belmont Park Village in Elmont, New York. As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare quality desserts and ice creams, ensuring all items are served in a timely manner to the highest freshness and quality.

What will you do?
Prepare and produce a variety of baked goods and pastries.
Create and serve desserts, each accompanied by a unique type of ice cream.
Operate and maintain ice cream machines, ensuring high-quality ice cream production.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dessert recipes and menu items.
More about you
Basic knowledge of ice cream making and proficiency in using an ice cream machine.
Experience in baking and pastry production.
Strong attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements.
Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions.
Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift while also walking, bending, reaching, and performing other repetitive motions
