Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes to ensure consistent quality. Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair while adhering to customer specifications. Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring they meet presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following all food handling guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new recipes and improve existing offerings. Ensure all baked goods are produced in compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or pastry preparation. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to baking and food preparation. Proficiency in cake decorating and presentation skills is highly desirable. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
