As a Baker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious items that meet our customers’ expectations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all ingredients are measured accurately and prepared in accordance with food handling guidelines. Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail to enhance presentation. Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are visually appealing and properly labeled. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when necessary. Stay updated on baking trends and techniques to continually improve skills and offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in baking or pastry arts. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both baking processes and presentation. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Prior experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
