Cafe Associate Position Available In Suffolk, New York

Cafe Associate Chocolate Wala Selden, NY 11784 We’re looking for a passionate and skilled café professional to join our team! If you have hands-on experience working in a café environment, especially preparing crepes, lattes, and desserts, and you know your way around the kitchen and espresso machine, we want to hear from you. This is not an entry-level position — we’re seeking someone who’s confident in their craft, takes pride in presentation, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook crepes to order with consistent quality and presentation Craft a variety of espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) with latte art a plus Assemble and plate desserts beautifully and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times Restock ingredients and prep stations as needed Deliver friendly and professional customer service Work well independently and as part of a small team Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a café or dessert shop setting Proficient in making crepes, lattes, and dessert plating Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to multitask and work under pressure Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred)

Bonus If You Have:

Experience with POS systems Latte art skills Knowledge of trending dessert recipes or presentation styles
