The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the food industry and a desire to contribute to the production of high-quality baked goods. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and taste. Duties Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts. Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in food production. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other baking tools. Perform food handling tasks with attention to hygiene and safety standards. Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to meet production goals and deadlines. Requirements Ability to bake a variety of bakery items in a timely manner Some Experience Preferred Able to follow recipes Able to prepare, package and label bakery items for sale Able to clean and sanitize your work station Organized individual who maintains a clean organized work station as they move from one task to the next Excellent customer service skills, able to present self in a highly professional manner, ability to communicate with others with professionalism and respect Able to work well with peers and work as a team player Able and willingness to take direction, learn new tasks and procedures and communicate Maintain high standards for work areas sanitation, safety and appearance Knowledge of HACCP and food safety a plus Able to lift up to 25 – 50 pounds Train on Pizza station to assist as needed Join us in creating delicious baked goods that bring joy to our customers!
