This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to grow their skills in a professional bakery setting. You’ll support our head baker in daily production, including prep, mixing, portioning, baking, and cleaning. We are a small, collaborative team, and we’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen. You will be responsible for producing a variety of items, including cookies, brownies, muffins, scones, and other breakfast pastries. Responsibilities Assist with daily baking and prep, including mixing batters and doughs, portioning, and baking Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and follow all health and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety standards. Support restocking and inventory management as needed Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer demands. Skills Proficiency in food preparation techniques, especially in baking and pastry arts. Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and other baking equipment. Experience in cake decorating techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with food handling regulations to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted

Schedule:

Early Morning / Daytime Shifts 2-4 shifts per week Weekend availability preferred Shop is closed Mondays and for most major holidays

1 year (Preferred)

Baking:

1 months (Preferred) ServSafe Certified (Preferred) We are willing to train the right candidate with a strong interest in baking and production work.
