• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled and creative Baker to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of delicious pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, contributing to our bakery’s reputation for high-quality, handcrafted treats.

• Responsibilities:

• Production:

• Prepare a wide range of pastries, including hand-cut donuts, apple fritters, croissants, cookies, cupcakes, and specialty cakes for birthdays and weddings.
• Follow recipes and production standards meticulously to ensure consistency and high quality.
• Decorate and present baked goods attractively, according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring freshness and appropriate stock levels.

• Creative Development:

• Research and develop new seasonal products to keep the menu exciting and appealing to customers.
• Experiment with new flavors, fillings, and techniques to create unique and innovative pastry offerings.
• Contribute ideas for special events and promotions.

• Teamwork & Collaboration:

• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other bakery staff members.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of orders.
• Share knowledge and skills with colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.

• Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Baker in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of pastry basics & techniques, dough making, cake decorating.
• Ability to create a variety of hand-crafted pastries, including delicate and intricate designs.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing new product recipes.
• Passion for baking and a commitment to using high-quality ingredients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Food handler’s certification required.
