Metropolitan Bakery is seeking Bread Bakers – Mixer to join our bread department. Full time shifts at our Production Facility located in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Shift available 11:00am to 7:00 pm , 5 shifts per week, Wednesday thru Sunday The ideal applicant would have Knowledge of Bread Mixing/ Fermentation process. 1 year of Bread Baking, Oven Operation or relative training. Experience with sourdough bread process including levains and polish, helpful. Ability to fulfill production required to complete retail and wholesale needs. • Ability to plan and organize production. Food safety knowledge (certification preferred) Must be able to lift 50# and physically be able to perform tasks. 17.00/ hr Compensation determined by experience.
