Head Baker Saveurs du Monde Cafe 1200 Ben Barron Lane, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 Job Description Gourmet Distribution in Moncks Corner, SC is looking for one head baker to join our 16 person strong team. We are located on 1200 Ben Barron Lane. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. We are seeking an experienced baker with at least 5 years of previous experience in a bakery. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning, baking fresh loaves of bread, setting out the pastries and preparing fresh bread, pastries and other baked goods for the following day. It is also the baker’s responsibility to ensure the quality of the goods being used is up to par and make note of when supplies are running low so that an order can be made. We have both full-time and part-time positions available. The position is salary and begins at 5 am. As a Head Baker you will : Supervise and coordinated activities of personnel in bread-baking department. Plan the production according to daily requirements. Order the supplies and equipment. Maintain inventory and production records. Train and manage 5 staff. Assign duties and monitored performance of workers. We are looking forward to reading your application.
