Full Job Description Bakery Assistant Duties:

• Assist with the preparation and production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens and mixers
• Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
• Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, and toppings
• Package finished products
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or bags of ingredients
