As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team in the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods. Duties Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including pastries, bread, and cakes. Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in food production. Utilize culinary skills, including knife techniques, to prepare ingredients efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Package finished products for sale or catering orders, ensuring presentation meets quality standards. Support the team with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with setup and service. Experience Previous experience in a bakery or culinary setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential. Skills in food preparation techniques, including pastry making and cooking methods, are advantageous. A strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
