Baker / Bakery Assistant Benjamin’s Bakery 810 3rd Avenue South, Surfside Beach, SC 29575 Job Summary Bakers / Bakery Assistants (Surfside Beach) Benjamin’s Bakery in Surfside Beach is looking for bakery managers, bakery assistants, and bread packers/baggers to work in established commercial bakery in Surfside Beach (30 years in business). Positions are full-time, year round (part-time positions also available during the summer season). Hours are AM or PM, depending on scheduled shifts. Production runs seven days a week. Bakery experience in making, baking, or packing orders for breads. bagels, and sweets is desirable but will consider training motivated candidates. Competitive wages, friendly staff. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of various baked goods Package finished products for display and sale while ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in food production. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or bakery settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus. Experience in customer service or restaurant environments is beneficial. A willingness to learn new skills related to baking and food production. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
