Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a Bakery Helper to join our team. As a Bakery Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the daily operations of our bakery. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

• Filling the display case in the morning and through out the day.
• Package baked goods according to established guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their bakery orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
• Upsell bakery products to increase sales and promote new items
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the freshness and quality of our products
• Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling procedures is a plus
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product presentation and packaging
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines This position does include tip share.
