Federal Work Study – Nashville 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Nashville, TN 37206 Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a type of financial aid awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and who meet eligibility criteria. FWS provides part-time opportunities at the campus that accommodate the student’s academic schedule. FWS students receive various assignments working in the campus departments to support staff and fellow students. A campus representative assigns tasks to the FWS students and serves as a point of contact for the student. FWS students are limited to working no more than 20 hours/week.
