Summary We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods that contribute to the well-being and enjoyment of our residents. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life within our community. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. Decorate cakes and pastries according to specifications for special occasions. Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus that meet dietary needs of residents. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and kitchen equipment. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and order supplies as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and cake decorating skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
