As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation, customer service, and sales will contribute to an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently using the Clover POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations. Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock and communicating needs to management. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting teamwork and effective communication. Upsell products by utilizing sales techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Experience Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of different coffee types is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications are essential. Experience using point-of-sale systems like Clover POS is advantageous but not mandatory.
