As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in drink making and customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons, making each visit memorable. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of boba drinks, lemomade, and other beverages with precision and care. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Square POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure all food items meet safety and quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with our specialty drinks preparation techniques and knowledge of various juice types is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to learn and help others within the team is essential for success in this role.
