The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; restock as needed. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure quality service. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Skills Proficiency in coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types is preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Experience with cash registers or POS systems is an advantage. Familiarity with food handling practices in a café or food service environment is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and work collaboratively with team members. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
