As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages while providing exceptional service to our customers. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each customer leaves with a smile. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; restock as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, fostering positive relationships and encouraging repeat business. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential. Experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers alike.
