The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages including coffee and alcohol, maintaining cleanliness in the bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and alcohol beverages according to standard recipes. Operate cash register and POS systems efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters and equipment. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages as necessary. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and preparation. Requirements Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills to assist with cash handling and inventory management. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
