Barista Villons Rockledge, FL 32955 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will involve food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy interacting with customers, this position is perfect for you. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the espresso machine and other café equipment efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Skills Experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or café settings is preferred. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques.
