Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed. Adhere to food safety standards and best practices in food handling to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus; willingness to learn is essential. Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash flow. Familiarity with POS systems. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service are essential traits for success in this role.
