Barista and Server Aromi di Italia Corp Plantation, FL 33317 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries. Handle cash transactions efficiently using a cash register while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Skills Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry. Experience with coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of various coffee types. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Previous experience in sales or food service is preferred but not required.
