As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and light food items, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including the coffee station, dining area, and equipment. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and handling guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks. Skills Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to prepare various coffee drinks with attention to detail and quality. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A passion for coffee and providing outstanding customer experiences is essential.
