We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable team member who possesses the necessary skills and desire to grow with our local business and into the role of Assistant Manager. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their needs are met. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, protein smoothies, baked goods, and desserts according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment. Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Operate the Square POS system for processing transactions efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support leadership in helping to train new staff members on best practices in customer service and food preparation. Skills Strong background in food service or hospitality, with experience in a coffee shop or restaurant setting. Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create positive experiences for guests. Leadership qualities that contribute to team cohesion and motivation. Ability to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience with inventory control processes to help maintain stock levels effectively. A passion for Coffee Culture experiences that enhances customer satisfaction. Ability to multi-task in a faced paced working environment. This is currently a part-time position that will evolve into full-time employment. Weekend Availability is a MUST!
