LEAD SERVER / CLOSER / BARISTA
Kpop chicken and boba Jacksonville, FL 32225 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Server to join our dynamic team. The Head Server plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and mentoring the serving staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Oversee daily operations of the dining area, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. Train, mentor, and supervise serving staff to maintain quality service and adherence to food safety protocols. Manage guest interactions, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently. Assist in sales efforts by promoting menu items and upselling specials to enhance guest experiences. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant management roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in math for handling transactions and managing tips accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
