As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly crafting high-quality beverages. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to exceptional customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Operate the Aloha POS system for processing transactions and managing cash handling duties. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and helping with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Provide support to customers by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations based on their preferences. Uphold high standards of quality in both beverage preparation and customer interaction. Requirements Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to engage effectively with patrons. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A willingness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
