Customer Service Barista Cosa Nostra Italian Deli 798 West Montrose Street, Clermont, FL 34711 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for our customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and fosters customer loyalty. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items with precision and care. Operate the Aloha POS system and cash register efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and kitchen space. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; communicate needs to management. Uphold health and safety standards in food handling and preparation. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is desirable but can be learned on the job.
