Barista Anna Maria Island Coffee Shack 5500 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach, FL 34217 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and preparation standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Square POS system. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure product availability. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and provide excellent customer service. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food service standards. Proficiency in food preparation techniques with an emphasis on quality and presentation. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Familiarity with square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
