As a Barista, you will play a vital role in our café, preparing high-quality beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Assist customers with their orders, offering recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations. Participate in food preparation tasks as needed, including baking or assembling food items for sale. Engage with customers in a friendly manner to foster a welcoming environment. Experience Previous experience in coffee preparation or food service is required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cash handling and retail math is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial. A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage offerings.
