As a Barista/FOH Member, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge, contributing to the overall success of our café. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; communicate needs to management. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency. Experience Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within a café or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems or similar cash register systems is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential. A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is highly valued. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
