The Head of Coffee will be responsible for overseeing the coffee operations, managing the coffee hospitality teams, ensuring quality standards are met, and creating a welcoming and engaging coffee experience for customers across all Vice City Bean locations and activations. This is a key leadership role in our company. It is our goal to brew, roast, and deliver the highest quality coffees to our customers.
Compensation Range:
based on experience – $50,000.00 – $55,000.00, including tips and bonuses. Full-time hourly position, weekend availability as required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Position is based in Miami, Florida.

Cupping & evaluation: coffee from our roasting partners and our own roasting/coffee programs Coffee selection: keeping our pour over menus interesting, dialed-in and updated
Training:
Ensure our teams have ongoing education and evaluation. Develop customer outreach training opportunities and materials Bring the fun: keep our barista teams and customers engaged – organize events, make coffee fun and interesting Improve, develop and implement
SOPs Barista:
Ensure all our locations and events are staffed, filling in shifts as needed.
Research & Development:
Keep abreast of new developments in coffee, industry trends and opportunities Sample roasting and evaluation Key Skills Coffee dial-in and latte art Cupping and evaluation Understanding and use of refractometer, TDS, water quality standards Great communications: written and verbal Motivator and mentor Stay curious: you seek new knowledge, skills, and experiences, and embrace continuous learning Self-starter, able to execute quickly and complete projects
