Barista Intl Drive 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 5931 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819 Juan Valdez Cafe is looking for a passionate Barista to join our team of coffee enthusiasts! Our baristas create Juan Valdez coffee beverages while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or Square system.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that each customer has a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the counter, seating area, and restroom.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow.
- Upsell additional products or menu items to customers.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Describe menu items to costumers o suggest products.
- Defrost or reheat and serve food.
- Receive or stock supplies or retail products.
- Open and close the register and cashflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others.
