As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring their orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. This position pays $15-$18 per hour, plus tips. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Handle cash transactions responsibly while following cash handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
