Barista Curated Cafe Delray Beach, FL 33446 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have high knowledge and experience in making coffee all while having a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks and menu items with precision and care. Operate cash register and Square POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, and dining spaces. Assist with food preparation and adhere to food safety standards at all times. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; assist with restocking as needed. Uphold café standards by following recipes and presentation guidelines consistently. Skills Proficiency in operating cash registers and Square POS systems is preferred. Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and beverage preparation methods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in food handling practices.
