Work days for this role are as follows: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. Your knowledge in food safety and handling, along with your ability to engage with customers, will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back for more. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and handling, including pastries Operate the Square POS system for cash handling and transaction processing accurately. Engage with customers, taking their orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; notify management when stock is low. Uphold high standards of quality in both product presentation and service delivery. Qualifications Previous experience in the as a barista is required. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions. Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
