• Greet customers and take their orders
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate cash register and handle customer payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling
• Assist with stocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations “`Skills“` To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Knowledge of the food industry, particularly in coffee preparation
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling basic math calculations
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
