Barista/Cashier The Sweet Greek Milton FL 6776 Caroline Street, Milton, FL 32570 We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving various coffee and tea-based beverages, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and customer satisfaction. Your role will also involve providing friendly and efficient customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall ambiance of our coffee shop.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee and tea-based beverages as well as our baked goods and other food options, adhering to quality standards and recipes. Expertly use espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to create delicious beverages. Create beautiful latte art to enhance the visual appeal of drinks. Greet customers warmly, take orders and assist with menu recommendations. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Constantly stickering and stamping items Provide information about coffee origins, blends, and brewing methods to educate customers. Upsell additional items and promotions to enhance the customer experience. Continuously monitor beverage quality, adjusting recipes or techniques as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Knowledge of different coffee origins, blends, and brewing methods is a plus. Ability to operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for coffee. Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Artistic abilities is a plus Being able to stand 4-10 hours, constantly bending over, and can carry up to 30lbs frequently.
