In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. You will engage with customers, take orders, and ensure a delightful experience that keeps them coming back for more. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all preferences are noted. Scoop and serve ice cream in various sizes and flavors, maintaining presentation standards. Upsell additional products such as toppings, cones, or specialty items to enhance the customer experience. Operate cash registers and handle transactions with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Requirements Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or retail environment is preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Basic culinary skills with knowledge of food handling practices. Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math is a plus. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
