  • POSITION SUMMARY
  • Provide friendly, attentive, and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. The primary objective is to create a personalized experience for our guests that will make them want to return and bring friends.
  • Work hours are six AM until eleven or eleven thirty AM depending on the day. This position requires a high level of dependency and passion for taking care of our guests.
  • KEY AREAS OF

    RESPONSIBILITY and DUTIES

  • Welcome and connect with every customer. Discover customer needs and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and Hotel functions and services
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system
  • Prepare coffee barista drinks and speciality drinks
  • Perform running side work and opening and closing duties throughout your shift
  • Maintain a clean and organized work and service area
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • Teamwork Offer or ask for help to your fellow team members as situations arise
  • Thank your guests by name (if a credit card is used) for their visit and invite them to return
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.::::::## ::: {#qualifications aria-label=” “}::: {#jobQualifications-row}[]{#jobQualifications}
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous barista experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Must have a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently and take direction
  • Must have a basic knowledge of service procedures and functions.
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Work Environment:

The duties for this position are carried out inside, however; the employee may be subject to rapid and severe changes in temperature (from walk-in coolers, to the kitchen to the restaurant, etc.).•
