The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, located at 181 Peachtree St.,NE,Atlanta, GA, 30303 currently has the following opportunity: Barista (1400256F): Complete opening and closing duties includingsetting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment andareas, locking doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.

Input orders into cash register system and collect payment fromcustomer. Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food andcoffee beverages. Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) areturned on/off at the appropriate times. Bus coffee cart areas andtables. Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipmentthroughout the day. Obtain change required for expected businesslevel. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashierreports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and securebank. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform andpersonal appearance are clean and professional, maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information, and protect companyassets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to companystandards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assistindividuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence toquality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull,and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds withoutassistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time period.
