Our cafe is a hidden gem, just off of Cheshire Bridge Rd, in Atlanta, GA. The cafe is inspired by Julia’s South African-Jewish roots. We serve specialty coffee, brekkie (breakfast), brunch, lunch, cocktails and natural wines daily. Daily Chew expands beyond the cafe. We create simple, seasonal, and nourishing experiences through our catering, events, and farmer’s markets.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Daily Chew in Atlanta, GA is looking for a full-time barista to join the team of your neighborhood cafe, Daily Chew. We would like to hear from you if you are passionate about coffee, people, creating a welcoming environment, and honoring our local community and the farmers we work with. Previous barista experience of 1 year or more is required. People of all backgrounds are welcome to apply. As barista with Daily Chew you will be responsible for: Being knowledgeable about Daily Chew’s mission, partnerships with local farmers, beverage, and food menu.
Being knowledgeable about the coffee served from local roaster, Tanbrown Coffee. Welcoming and assisting guests.
Creating cold and hot beverages according to Daily Chew standards. Serving coffee, wine, beer and spirits.
Working in a fast paced, full service restaurant. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment according to health and safety standards
Communicating effectively with coworkers and management

COMPENSATION

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
