Summary As a Barista, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and crafting high-quality beverages that enhance the café experience. Reporting to the Café Manager, you will utilize your core skills in POS systems and coffee preparation to efficiently take orders and handle transactions. Your premium skills in time management and sales will enable you to promote menu items effectively, while your relevant skills in food handling and basic math will ensure a smooth operation. Qualifications Proven experience as a Barista with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and serving techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and satisfy customers Proficiency in using POS systems, including Aloha and Micros Strong time management abilities to handle high-volume service periods Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety and handling practices in a café environment Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages while adhering to food safety standards. Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and cash handling. Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment. Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with health regulations. Engage in sales activities to promote products and enhance customer experience.
