In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling techniques are followed. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the café environment. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere. Qualifications Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
